Five friends and I went to Slackwater a few weeks ago. We each ordered a pizza or pasta, and we all tried each of them. There was actually a problem with mine, but the manager came out immediately and took care of it personally, so A+ for Customer service! The restaurant was packed so if you go on a weekend or prime time in the evening, make a reservation or get there early. Unanimously, the southern chicken redo pizza was the least favorite. It was a waste of money since it did not get eaten. Also unanimously, the surprising favorite was the chicken bro-do pizza. It is everything you love in a great chicken Alfredo in pizza form. Delicious and I will definitely come back to order this pizza again.

Wow! The best pizza I've had in SLC so far. First, logistically the Sandy location is easy to find and ample parking. Lots of seating and our server was kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. The pizza is the star here! They're smaller, so try a few different flavors! The crust is a perfect balance of crunchy and chewy. Toppings were super fresh and evenly distributed. I can't wait to come back and try more!

Hot honey pizza was awesome!! Nice outdoor seating and friendly staff! Reasonably priced for lunch! Wish we had these in AZ, someone needs to franchise this place!

We always have an enjoyable experience here. The food is great and their extensive drink menu is a fun bonus. The ambiance on a weekend night is very loud, dark, and buzzing with energy. Make sure you join the waitlist online before arriving, or you'll be waiting for quite a while!

I wanted pizza this evening for dinner, I was traveling for work from Las Vegas and found this place which looked like it had decent reviews. I got the Joe Pesci sandwich , which was kind of spicy and the Gyro pizza. I took them to go because it was a long day at work and both were great; everything was added to my order for takeout. You know, napkins, utensils, extra sauce on the side. Will definitely go back since I'm in Salt Lake City at least every other month. Viva Las Vegas! Oh yeah, and the service was great, very friendly when taking my order, which is what I expect and a decent area to grab a great quick bite. Thanks, Slackwater.

My family was on a road trip and decided to stay the night in Salt Lake City. We decided to have lunch at slack water. The place was packed during lunch, we were able to get seated very quickly though. Even though we were sitting inside, we had a nice view of the mountains surrounding the city. Our server was nice and gave us recommendations of what to order, as well as things to do in the city. We got the southern comfort, tikka masala, and California sunrise pizzas. They bring out the pizzas very fast here. All of them were good but my favorite was the California sunrise, followed by the southern comfort. The crust was very delicious as well. We also got their char tipped roasted pork chili verde nachos. The nachos were hugeeeee and tasted good. Ur I felt it was lacking in salsa and spice. We got roasted jalapeƱos and they definitely elevated the nachos. They forgot our tikka masala by only 10 minutes but they comped it for us too

This place is outrageous! The bar food in this place was really delicious; we were so impressed! Everything was beyond my expectations. The portions were generous, and I will be back again to try something different!

If you're in Sandy, Utah and find yourself in dire need of pizza, beer, and a rollicking good time, Slackwater is the place to be. I went there expecting a good slice, and left with my mind blown like a balloon at a kid's birthday party. Let's talk about their beer list first - it's crazier than a squirrel on espresso. With so many options, I felt like a kid in a candy store, except the candy was beer, and I was a very thirsty adult. Now, let's get to the main event: Samantha, the bartender extraordinaire. If there's an award for the best bartender this side of the Mississippi, just hand it over to her now. She's got more charisma than a stand-up comedian at a pizza convention. Samantha picked my beer with the precision of a Swiss watchmaker and the flair of a Las Vegas magician. I don't know what kind of sorcery she uses, but her beer choices were pure magic. And the food - oh, the food! The pizza was so good it made my taste buds sing "That's Amore." The wings were the perfect balance of crispy and juicy, like they were auditioning for a role in a food commercial. And the half salad? It was so fresh, it probably moonlights as a motivational speaker for other salads. If you're in Sandy and looking for a place where the beer flows like a river, the pizza is heavenly, and the bartender is a legend, head to Slackwater. It's a slice of paradise in the heart of Utah!

I'd come back just for the swatch YourGarlic Breath appetizer!I LOVE roasted garlic. If you haven't tried roasted garlic you are missing out. Roasting it takes all the bite out of it and you're left with creamy deliciousness. The California Sunrise pizza is just the right combination of chicken, bacon and avocado. So good! Cool, laid back, family friendly atmosphere. We were here for lunch but some evenings have live music as well as the great food. Service was prompt and friendly. Easy access with plenty of parking. We will return when in the area.
